crafternoons at mine

Reducing my work hours has given me more space to pursue art (which is wonderful for my mental wellbeing and keeps my hands productively occupied). I'm fortunate to have some wonderfully creative friends, and I've been arranging occasional "craft afternoons" at my home.

During these afternoons, I'm reminded of how much stronger we are when together. I tend to withdraw from social settings and distance myself too much from the people I care about. Our craft afternoons are a helpful reminder that connection matters. They also show me how enjoyable it can be to spend time chatting and creating. I always leave the day feeling energised... plus I manage to mend a few garments along the way!
