I've made the decision to give our dining suite a complete makeover – the very same suite I grew up eating at. I'm passionate about nostalgia and holding onto pieces that still have life in them, but this dining suite has definitely worn out its welcome. The photos below don't quite capture the true colour, but you'll get the picture... Vintage honey-toned pine, covered in dents and scratches with layers of accumulated grime...



I've already disassembled the chairs and removed all the upholstery, which because of how old the material and stuffing were, had begun falling apart! I'm currently working through sanding the finish off the chairs, and getting ready mentally for tackling the table. I'll continue sharing updates as I move forward.
