i bought a thermomix.

I purchased a thermomix. The only other moment I felt this strongly was when I met Kym. It's truly marvellous. If you're unfamiliar with the thermomix, here's a video that demonstrates what it does far better than my enthusiasm:

Why did I purchase it?
  • saves time
  • saves money
  • saves space (we've been able to list six other appliances for sale, and our cramped kitchen is considerably happier)
  • enables us to prepare all our food from scratch (including grinding grains to make flour, almonds to make meal, rice to make milk...) so fewer additives/preservatives
  • enables us to prepare all our skincare products from scratch (fewer chemicals)
  • long lasting (these machines are built to use every day and last for 20-30 years)
  • ethical production (German steel, all but the display is made in France)
The thermomix will be particularly useful for all those activities I claim I never have time for, like baking bread, making relish and creating lip balm. I'll also be demonstrating for interested folks in little adelaide from September 7.

I'll continue to post thermomix tips and recipes on little adelaide kate, but now I'm going to prepare some red onion relish!

If you're in South Australia and would like a demonstration, get in touch at [email protected]. You can learn more about the Thermomix on the official website and browse recipes at Tick of Yum.
